At Bell Aliant we believe a large part of our commitment to Atlantic Canada means helping to build a bright future for our region.
The overall objective of Bell Aliant's community relations program is to support organizations that deliver programs and initiatives that have a meaningful and lasting impact on Atlantic Canadians.
Focus on mental health
Bell Aliant's focus on mental health initiatives will enhance awareness, understanding and treatment of mental illness.
Mental illness is one of the most-pervasive health issues in the country. One in five people will experience a mental illness at some point and most will be reluctant to talk to a co-worker, friend or family member about their struggle, let alone seek treatment. While you may never experience mental illness first-hand, it is likely that you know someone who will.
We work closely with our partners at Bell on their five-year, $50 million commitment to mental health.
Other areas of local support
In addition to our mental health focus, Bell Aliant continues to help a variety of organizations and causes that support programs and initiatives that are important to Atlantic Canadians.
